London boys-Sweet Soul Music 1991년

1986년에 결성, 1996년에 해체된 그룹이다. 양쪽 모두

런던 그리니치 출신의 동갑내기인 에뎀 에프라임 (Edem Ephraim)과

데니스 풀러(Dennis Fuller)로 구성된 댄스 듀오로 둘 다 보컬과 댄스를 맡았다

.

1988년 첫 앨범으로 내놓은 The Twelve Commandments Of Dance가 인기를 끌면서

인지도가 급상승.앨범의 곡들 중 London Nights, Harlem desire와 Requiem이 상위권에 랭크되었다.

80년대에 대중매체에서 노출된 빈도가 잦았던 노래이며, 오프라인 등지에서도

많이 재생되었다는 사실을 보면 인지도가 높은 그룹으로 만들어 준 노래라는 것을 알 수 있다.

1992년 일시 해체되었다가 1995년 재결성되었다.

 1996년 1월 21일, 알프스로 떠난 휴가에서 음주운전을 하던

상대편 차량이 충돌하여 멤버 전원이 사망하면서 자동으로 해체되었다.

'I'm gonna give my heart'의 전주 부분이

가수 코요태의 노래 순정에 멜로디로 쓰였다.

밴드 디아블로가 2012년 EP 앨범인 Dumb에 런던 보이즈의 악곡 Harlem Desire를 편곡하여 수록하기도 하였다.

댄싱퀸(영화)에도 엄정화가 나오는 클럽 신에서 Harlem Desire가 나온다.
